Great games are crafted by people who care about the details.
Our Meet GameArt series continues, introducing the talented people behind our games, sharing their stories, creative processes, and the countless details that shape every player experience.
This time, we meet Mihailo Kocic, Technical & Marketing Artist, who bridges the gap between art and implementation while helping bring our games to life across both games and marketing.
I'm a Technical and Marketing Artist, which basically means I help bridge the gap between art and implementation. I make sure the visuals look as good in the game as they do in the original designs, while also creating marketing assets that showcase our games in the best possible way.
Every day is a little different, which is probably my favourite part.
Honestly, people more than anything. The way they talk, react, tell stories, or even joke around. A lot of ideas also come from everyday moments outside of work.
And of course, being surrounded by a creative team helps – one random conversation can easily turn into a great idea.
Definitely the Gremlins from Backstreet Mayhem. They'd probably make a mess while I was away, but I don't think anyone would be brave enough to break in.
Don't rush it. The small details are usually the ones people remember.
Someone once told me that players don't notice every detail individually – but they definitely notice when those details are missing.
That stuck with me because it's true. A polished experience is usually the result of dozens of small things done well.
Consistency. Whether it's spacing, animation timing, lighting, or just making sure everything feels cohesive, those little details quietly make the difference between something that looks good and something that feels finished.
