July 17th, 2026 Company updates
In our first edition of Inside the Studio, we sit down with Gašper Žun, CEO of GameArt, to discuss the vision, strategy, and craftsmanship behind our journey.
Over the past year, GameArt has continued evolving: strengthening our internal production pipeline, investing in technology, expanding into strategic markets, and delivering a consistent roadmap of high-quality releases.
From titles such as Backstreet Mayhem, Legends of the Wild Moon, Fortune Maiden, and Money Farm West to the continued success of games like Lunar Rabbit, every release reflects our commitment to creating memorable player experiences.
In this conversation, Gašper shares the GameArt perspective on building worlds, one game at a time.
For us, creating a game starts with a simple question: What experience do we want players to have?
We believe the strongest games are built when every element works together, from the initial concept and artwork to mechanics, animation, sound, and technical execution.
Being a premium, boutique studio gives us the ability to stay close to the creative process. We can experiment, make decisions quickly, and maintain a level of attention to detail that is difficult to achieve at a much larger scale.
Our goal has always been to create games that feel complete, not just visually attractive, but memorable as experiences.
Our monthly release cadence is supported by a strong internal production pipeline where all key disciplines work closely together: game design, mathematics, artwork, animation, development, and audio.
Because most of our production is handled in-house, we have better control over the creative direction and can maintain consistency across our portfolio.
Recent releases such as Legends of the Wild Moon, Fortune Maiden, Money Farm West, and Backstreet Mayhem show the variety of worlds we can create while keeping the same focus on quality.
Backstreet Mayhem represents many things we value at GameArt: a strong identity, innovative mechanics, and attention to details that enhance the overall experience.
The game introduced unique features such as the Volatility Switch, Xtreme Cascades, and Multiplier Vault, giving players more interaction and variety during gameplay.
However, what makes a game successful is rarely just one individual feature. It is the combination of hundreds of creative decisions—the art direction, animations, sound design, pacing, and how every element supports the player journey.
Being voted Best New Slot at the AskGamblers Awards was a great achievement for the whole team, and we couldn't have been prouder.
Asian markets have been an important focus for us because we see strong appreciation for visually rich games, distinctive themes, and immersive experiences.
Our recent participation at SiGMA Asia was a great success. Beyond showcasing our portfolio, it gave us valuable insight into market preferences and allowed us to strengthen relationships with existing and potential partners.
The performance of titles like Lunar Rabbit, Ragna's Rock, Olympus Majesty, Tales of the Serpent Maiden, and Golden Furlong confirms that players respond well to games with strong creative identities.
Our approach is to combine global production standards with an understanding of regional preferences, creating games that can succeed internationally while still feeling relevant to different audiences.
The SBC Summit is always a great opportunity to meet the people who are shaping the future of our industry.
This year, we want to showcase not only our latest games, but also the philosophy behind our studio, how we approach creativity, technology, and building long-term partnerships.
The industry is moving quickly, and successful collaboration requires more than simply delivering content. It requires understanding player behaviour, market needs, and how content suppliers, aggregators and operators can work together to create better experiences.
We are looking forward to reconnecting with existing partners, meeting new ones, and sharing what makes GameArt unique.
Our vision is to continue growing as a studio that players and partners recognize for creativity, quality, and consistency.
We do not want to simply increase the number of games we release. We want to continue improving every part of the process, from storytelling and visual production to technology and player experience.
The future belongs to studios that can combine creative ambition with strong execution.
For GameArt, that means continuing to build worlds worth playing in.
