In this reinvention of the classic arcade game, the well-known pixel robots join forces with hyperspace rockets, pink asteroids, electrical energy balls, and supreme comets.
GameArt, a developer of high-quality HTML5 slot games for both online and land-based casino operators, has released a new slot game called Pixel Invaders, featuring pixel robots, hyperspace rockets, pink asteroids, electrical energy balls, and supreme comets. Pixel Invaders is a 7x7 cascading reel slot game in which symbols drop down on the reels to form winning combinations. Features include Energy Balls that randomly appear to destroy the symbol where they land together with all four adjacent symbols, Supreme Comets that randomly appear to destroy all symbols on an intersected row and column, four different levels of Free Spins, and three Buy Bonus options. Wins are achieved by landing five or more matching symbols that are connected vertically or horizontally. Winning symbols are removed, and new symbols drop down to fill the reels. Energy Balls randomly appear to destroy the symbol where they land together with all four adjacent symbols. Up to three Energy Balls can land simultaneously both in the base and bonus game. The Supreme Comet randomly appears to destroy all symbols on an intersected row and column in both the base and bonus game. During the base game, charging the Fuel Level Metre triggers any of the four different levels of FREE SPINS—ARION, CALYPSO, HYPERION or TITAN—by landing four to seven rocket Scatters. Players also get a Mega Wild 2x2 when triggering Level 3 (Hyperion), and morphing symbols when triggering Level 4 (Titan). When in Free Spins, the rocket Scatter gives players an added push and takes them up an extra level. Pixel Invaders comes with a Buy Bonus with which players can buy four Scatters to reach Free Spins Level 1, five Scatters to reach Free Spins Level 2, or a Surprise option that will randomly give players six or seven Scatters that will trigger Free Spins Level 3 or 4.
