GameArt staff enjoys a two-day, activity-packed team-building event in Slovenia’s Green Valley Glamping resort.
GameArt loves to play hard. And play hard it did at this year’s Summer Team Event, held recently at Green Valley Glamping in the heart of the Savinja Valley in Žalec near Celje, Slovenia. (See photo gallery below.) The GameArt team was treated to a fun-packed team-building event that was spread over two days, with a mix of games and activities, including a painting workshop, organised by Imagine Team Building, and a good dose of relaxation, food and drinks. It was an opportunity for the whole team to get together after a winter of working remotely and not being able to collaborate with the rest of the team in person. Some even flew in from Malta and drove over from Budapest, Hungary, where GameArt also has a presence. Games Without Border & Picasso Painting Workshop The event kicked off with an ice-breaker welcome drink, followed by a team-building programme and lunch. All members of the team got involved in the action-packed ‘Games Withougt Borders’ series of challenges – Big ball throwing, Bus, Beer pong, Mechanic, Drug store, and Football darts. Following lunch, GameArt staff mustered its creative talent and got to work on painting six characters or symbols from GameArt’s slot games during the Picasso Painting Workshop, also organised by Imagine Team Building. Throughout the rest of the day, GameArt team members enjoyed some pool time and relaxation on the pool deck and glamping grounds, a BBQ dinner, a laughter-inducing quiz game, and marshmallows softened over a bonfire. Day Two with Go Karting On the second day of the event, everyone enjoyed breakfast with homemade treats form a nearby farm, and more socialising and fun at the pool till it was time to leave for a go-karting challenge at the Celje Karting Centre.
